I know even less about sportsball than you, as I will attempt to demonstrate with the following True Anecdote:

I went to the best burger place in St. Petersburg, Florida (El Cap’s) for a burger and a beer about 5:00 PM yesterday, where I learned for the first time that the Superb Owl was playing that very day. And I still don’t know who won, or even which teams were playing.
